It has been a delight and a privilege to pastor at the Duncannon Church of God since 2008. My family and I love the Duncannon area and look forward to ministering, and being ministered to, for many more years to come.
If I were attending a church – or looking for a church to call “home” – I would want to know a little bit about the pastor and his background. So here’s the low-down on Pastor Dave:
I have been married to my wife Niki since 1997 and have three wonderful children. While my wife is originally from Mechanicsburg, my native state is New Jersey – a fact I try to keep under wraps. I came to PA in 1993 to attend Messiah College. After graduating in 1997, I married Nicole and made PA my permanent home. In addition to my BA in Christian Ministries from Messiah, I completed my Master’s Degree in 2005 from The Evangelical Theological Seminary in Myerstown, PA – concentrating in Old Testament Studies. I was then ordained by the Churches of God General Conference in 2006.
As far as occupational experience goes, I have spanned the spectrum: Banking, retail sales, customer service rep, carpentry, roofing, children’s ministry, and youth ministry. While the Duncannon Church of God is my first charge as head pastor, I have over 13 years of ministry experience.
In terms of interests, I love to spend time with my family, read, write, draw, paint, play tennis, and do almost anything outdoors.
My hope and prayer is that God uses our church to help Christians grow stronger in their walk with the Lord, and to be the hands and feet of Jesus to the people of Duncannon and the surrounding area.
